The Monterey House is a single-family residence completed by DEEPBLUE SMARTHOUSE in Mexico in 2023. Exemplifying our commitment to intelligent, family-centric design, this project laid the groundwork for a successful series, inspiring a similar build in 2024.
Spanning a compact and efficient 116 square meters on a 20x8 meter site, this single-story home is designed for modern living. The layout is intuitively arranged in a subtle U-shape, creating a natural and harmonious flow.
Floor plan:
Open-Plan Heart: The home centers around an open-plan kitchen seamlessly adjacent to the living area, fostering a bright and interconnected space for family life and entertaining.
Tranquil Bedroom Wings: Flanking this central social zone are two bedrooms, ensuring privacy and quiet. A third bedroom, along with a practical laundry room and a bodega (utility room) at the entrance, completes the gentle U-formation. This configuration provides three well-appointed bedrooms, making it an ideal and comfortable environment for a family.
